Read online 6 years on!

It has been so long since I last posted that I should be ashamed of myself, but I will post anyway!
My last post was about reading online, and how it helped with reading faster. Well things have changed in 6 years and we now all have kindles, nooks and the likes to help us keep up on our reading.

I particularly like the Nook e-book reader because it is very light and tiny (fits in my smallest purse) and the new one with the back-light seems very promising, although I still have the older version, with no light.

I like my Nook a lot, because I can carry a few books to read and also my newspaper subscriptions. Also, people don't get to see what I am reading which is a bit sad but also cool, because you can read what you want, even something light-hearted and be left alone.

The only thing that I think is a bit of a hassle with e-book readers is that you can't flip back and forth really fast, so for example, for textbooks or books like "Investing for dummies" or "German for dummies" etc, you can fold pages to compare two tables.

That being said, it's a really good deal if you need to travel or want to read on the train because it is much lighter than books and uses so little energy. The e-ink is very good too. Actually it's even better than some books that have really black ink on really white paper in really tiny font. Those make me queasy so I don't want to read them anymore.

The point is: no matter what platform you use, JUST GO READ SOMETHING!!!
