Thunderbird Tryout!

Since Joel is not posting to give us his opinion about Thunderbird, I decided to try and DL it myself and test it out!
So far it looks like Outlook and Netscape mail at the same time. It seems to be as simple to use, although i am not quite used to the layout yet!
Ah first things, the servers are not responding XD idk how I'm going to send this email from TB to the blog now lol XD
Ok so I installed TB and it automatically imported my contacts and accounts, which is good. But it didn't import the server settings correctly. Hopefully this is fixed, i entered them manually.
Hmm nothing happened, we'll see when i post this, if it really works lol XD
Now... It can sort convos out just like outlooks, maybe with a little more options, but i guess you can create outlook rules and it would work fine!!
So far so good, except for the identity protection thing (to have all the members of the family read their emails in the same TB): outlook lets you manage identities... let me go into the options and check if TB lets you protect your identity with a password... nope i don't see an option for that...

Also,  the get mail button lets you get the new mail, it doesn't let you send your drafts that u meant to send at some point...
I guess it's better than sending them by mistake, so I'll give TB a point for that one! :D :-D

and.... it has a french spellcheck!!!! COOL! so now it has 2 spellchecks!
good point, outlook has only 11 languages, while TB has a sh*tload! and it lets you change the dict in the spellcheck window, while for OL you have to go to the main window, options, spellcheck and change it so that's more annoying.

Ok that's all for now folks!

PS: GRRRR STUPID SERVER PROBLEM *goes to outlook to send the friggn message*
